Report something

Email hello@thiswas.app with what you saw, who posted it and where. We look into every report. To stop someone reaching you straight away, you can block them from their profile in the app.

Forgot your password?

Tap Forgot your password? on the log in screen. We’ll email you a link to choose a new one, which works for 60 minutes.

Export your data

In the app, go to Settings, then Export your data. You get a file with your data and your original photos. The download stays available for 7 days.

Delete your account

In the app, go to Settings, then Delete account, and confirm with your password. Can’t get into the app? Email hello@thiswas.app from the address on your account.

• Straight away: you’re logged out everywhere, your friendships end, and your account can no longer be used.
• After 30 days: your experiences, people, photos, exports and account are permanently removed. Until then, email us if it was a mistake.
• What can stay: a place you added that other people also use stays available to them. Deleted data can also remain in backups until they’re overwritten.
